EXCURSIONS

Important experiences of learning often take place outside the school. At St. Michael's such excursions are seen as extensions of learning begun in the classroom and all children are encouraged to participate. Notification of forthcoming excursions are distributed well before the proposed date with a permission form attached.

Information for Volunteers on Excursions is available at Volunteers at St. Michael's (click the Excursions link).

INCURSIONS

At different times we have opportunities for different performing groups or guest speakers to visit the school. This is seen as another way to extend our children's learning.
